My Fitness Journey
My journey started when I was in the 7th grade. My sports team routinely lifted weights enabling the players to become stronger and faster.
At the time, I did not take the workout routine seriously. It was not until I was a sophomore in high school that I really started to take in interest in lifting weights.
I wanted a healthier, SEXIER looking body. I started by searching for diet advice and weight lifting suggestions.
However, I frequently encountered unhealthy and even physically dangerous suggestions, but I learned to filter out the bad information, yet the numerous lackluster health tips and initial lack of results did not discourage me. As my search for health and exercise information continued, I learned tips and tricks from more credible sources that have proved beneficial on my fitness journey.
The most important thing that I learned was to be consistent with an exercise and diet plan. I needed to know what I was going to do before I entered the gym.
I had a preset workout routine memorized in my head. All I had to do was follow through with it in the gym.
I have been implementing these two strategies ever since that time and have been getting great results in the way that my body looked. I started to receive compliments on how my body looked, and that encouragement motivated me even more to continue exercising.
Now, my dedication has paid off giving me the body that I have always wanted. The main thing that I want you to take away from this is that Persistence Is King.
This concept can be applied for any area of your life. There will be times when you slip up on your diet plan or skip a workout.
That’s normal. It will happen to all of us. The important thing is that you get back on track and continuing working hard so that you can achieve your goals.
The people who give up will always have to ask, “What if I had stuck through the hard times and achieved what I always wanted?” I do not want you to have to worry about that.
Achieving your fitness goals can be easy if you have the right programs. But more importantly, you must have the resolve and motivation to NEVER quit.
